I am helping an engineer fix and second market osciliscope.Today had service drawing organized. computer and osciliscope set up. found we need and eletrical isolation transformer 1:1 transformer to get scope and pc and unit under test to work. Power supply has a standard computer 20 pin connection. shorted enable to ground on power supply. broken power supply a tempted to turn on.. did not trust reading and pc osciliscope threw an error informing us to use and electrical isolating transformer.
